Alongside some fellow students, we hosted a bake sale to raise funds for cancer research. This was my first attempt at a fundraiser that wasn't my sixth grade teacher forcing everyone to sell a box of chocolate bars, so it wasn't super successful but it also wasn't a flop! It gave me enough confidence to try again and raise a mini scholarship fund that was later awarded to two students so they could buy books at their transfer universities.
